That painting of the girls looks like very Henry Darger. Do you know him? He was a reclusive janitor/writer/outsider artist who's work wasn't discovered until after his death.

There's an incredible documentary on him (narrated by Dakota Fanning… but don't let that put you off!) called Realms of the Unreal.

I do love his work and the honesty of it...and the brilliance of the color, flat color fields and shapes, stylization, repetition, pattern, fantastic and imaginative subject matter. Makes it very all graphic and contemporary.
I'm also very reminded of Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights in many ways.
